"Make college affordable again."
The center of this ad is meant to represent the students who feel like they are "behind bars" due to being bogged down by student loan debt, it shows how being stressed out about your debt can make you feel using pathos to tap into the audiences emotion. The graduation caps signify the amount of money individual students are leaving College with, this uses logos by providing statistical data strengthen the main point. Green is the theme color to represent the color of money because this is the underlying problem.
I chose this image to target people's emotions with the use of pathos. This image portrays the idea that college debt will always hold you back even after you get your diploma and graduate. This is a scary but also very realistic problem and so people struggle with it their whole lives. The purpose of the quote is because even though students are going to college longer and longer they just keep paying more. Where it says “getting less” signifies that just because they potentially went to college for four years got and got a degree does not guarantee them a job which leads back to the money bag dragging them back.
This meme describes the way that the college wants you to feel. They want you to think that the money they give you is yours for the spending and that you don't need to worry about taking money out for the time being. The problem with that is interest. In some cases you will pay as much interest as you will actually paying back the money that you took out. But on the flip side you might need that money to pay for your tuition or pay for the expensive books. The trick is being able to balance the money you need and the money you take out and being able to pay it back as you go.
